Characterization of the Biodistribution of a Silica Vesicle Nanovaccine Carrying a Rhipicephalus (Boophilus) microplus Protective Antigen With in vivo Live Animal Imaging

Development of veterinary subunit vaccines comes with a spectrum challenges, such as the choice adjuvant, antigen delivery vehicle, and optimization dosing strategy. Over years, our laboratory has largely focused on investigating silica vesicles (SVs) for developing effective multiple targets. Rhipicephalus microplus (cattle tick) are known to have high impact cattle health livestock industry in tropical subtropical regions. vaccine using Bm86 against R. emerged an attractive alternative control ticks. In this study, we investigated biodistribution SV live animal model, well further explored ability development.
